Farhangian University Is the Main Source of Human Resource Development for the Ministry of Education

Iranian Minister of Education, Alireza Kazemi, emphasized the strategic role of Farhangian University in preparing the human resources required by the country’s education system, stressing that all available capacities and resources of the Ministry of Education should be placed at the university’s disposal.

Speaking on the third day of the 39th National Conference of Heads of Education Departments, held in the presence of Mohammad Reza Aref, First Vice President of Iran, Kazemi said that Farhangian University is one of the important issues facing the education system and still requires substantial further development and attention.

The Minister of Education noted that, as Dr. Aref had also pointed out, there is still considerable work to be done to strengthen the university. He added that Farhangian University’s budget has increased by nearly 200 percent, reflecting the importance attached to its development.

Kazemi stressed that all capacities and resources of the Ministry of Education should be made available to Farhangian University, emphasizing that the university is the primary source of human resource development for the Ministry of Education.

He further stated that the Ministry of Education can place its confidence in Farhangian University as the principal institution responsible for preparing qualified teachers and developing the human capital needed for the future of the country’s education system.
