Head of Farhangian University Emphasizes the Role of Media in Shaping the Future of Education

According to the Public Relations Office of Farhangian University’s Central Organization, Mehrzad Hamidi, Head of Farhangian University, visited the PANA News Agency on the occasion of National Journalists’ Day, where he met and held discussions with the agency’s CEO, managers, and journalists.

Congratulating journalists on their special day, Hamidi described media activities in the field of education as a responsibility that goes beyond merely disseminating information. He stated that media outlets that maintain direct connections with schools, teachers, student teachers, and future generations can play a significant role in shaping public attitudes toward education and highlighting the importance of teacher education.

Referring to the need to improve the quality of teacher education and achieve scientific and educational leadership, the Head of Farhangian University emphasized the importance of sustained communication between Farhangian University and specialized education media. He said that many of the key issues surrounding teacher education require serious dialogue among the university, society, and the media, and that PANA can play an important role in facilitating such effective dialogue.

He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of PANA journalists and media professionals in covering developments and issues in the field of education and emphasized the continuation of cooperation and engagement between Farhangian University and the news agency.
